Synthesis of 2,3-dihydropolyprenyl H-phosphonates and thiophosphates

Abstract: Dolichyl and citronellyl H-phosphonates were prepared in 90 and 50% yields, respectively, by reaction of the alcohols with triimidazolyl phosphite. Dolichyl O-thiopho-sphate was obtained via interaction of dolichol with thiophosphoryl chloride and pyri-dine in a yield of 56%.
