The anomalous behaviour of some proteins with isoelectric point about 4.5 upon precipitation with organic solvents

Abstract: Proteins with pI of about 4.5 are shown to have much lower levels of precipitation from aqueous solutions with acetone, methanol or isopropanol than proteins with other pI values.
