Abstract: Starting from the earlier prepared 5'-C-methylthymidines and 3'-C-methyl-2'-de-oxyuridine, corresponding 5'-triphosphates were prepared and investigated in DNA synthesis reactions catalysed by DNA polymerases from different sources.
