Use of affinity sorbents for study of phospholipase A2 interaction with substrates

Abstract: Preparation of biospecific sorbents of the polysaccharide type involving different phospholipid ligands is described. By means of affinity chromatography, the formation of the phospholipase A2 phospholipid complex was quantitatively characterized. Two types of the complexes are formed on this sorbents, with lipid enzyme ratios (40154): 1 and (57): 1 depending on the lipid concentration. Choice of biospecific sorbents for affinity chromatography of phospholipase A2 is discussed.
