A simple synthesis of all-cis-3,6,9, 12,15-octadecapentaenoic acid

Abstract: A practical synthesis of all-cis 3,6,9,12,15-octadecapentaenoic acid (ODPA) from natural all-cis 4,7,10,14,16,19-docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and spectral properties of this unusual fatty acid are described.
