Synthesis and Properties of Anthrylvinyllabeled Gangliosides

Abstract: Fluorescently labeled probes, gangliosides g_D3 and G_D1a bearing a residue of 12-(9-anthryl)-11-trans-dodecenoic acid, are synthesized, and their fluorescent properties in different media and behaviour in model membranes studied.
